Hi! I’ve been wondering about how much one can abuse about the number of instances made and reproducing at the same time. Is there a limit or cap where it starts to hinder the performance of PC or consoles?

Our docs contain some information on performance, per platform, eg: [https://fmod.com/resources/documentation-api?version=2.0&page=platforms-windows.html#settings](https://fmod.com/resources/documentation-api?version=2.0&page=platforms-windows.html#settings)

The number of instances you are able to use depend on a lot of factors. The main thing being the complexity of the events. You can use the [Studio Profiler](https://fmod.com/resources/documentation-studio?version=2.0&page=profiling.html) to get an idea of how much CPU your game and events are using.
