```auto
FMOD: A Studio Event Emitter in scene 'Menu' on GameObject 'Depot/Subway/Environment/PLATFORM/Modules/Door_Office_Metal_A/Audio/Jammed' has an invalid event reference: {ff17af45-b03f-4dbd-9b71-8f53e703c357}
```

I sometimes get loads of these warnings when I do a standalone build of our game, and the only way to prevent it is if I delete `Assets/Plugins/FMOD/Cache/Editor/FMODStudioCache.asset`and let FMOD re-create it automatically (by selecting a gameobject with a StudioEventEmitter component).

I think its due to the sound engineer pushing changes to FMOD banks and then I pull them (via Git) when Unity is open. Sometimes it gets into a weird state with the cache I guess? Perhaps related - When I pull his changes, it causes a local modification of `FMODStudioSettings` for some reason on my side usually around trying to remove/add a Bank name in the list of banks. I always just have to revert that.

It causes the audio in the game to be completely wrong, with the wrong events being played as if they are all linked up incorrectly?

What versions of FMOD and Unity are you on?
Do you have the `FMODStudioCache` file checked into source control? If it is I could see this being an issue if it is out of sync with the bank files.

Unity 6000.3.11f1 and FMOD 2.03.13.

`FMOD/Cache/Editor/*` is ignored by our source control.

It sounds like the event paths are being changed but the cache isn’t being recreated for some reason.
A fix for this could be to change the `Event Linkage` option in the settings to use GUIDs, although the cache files will need to be refreshed when the banks are updated. Is the `Refresh Banks` option in the settings set to `Manual`?

@cameron-fmod Here are the settings we use. Not sure if these were the defaults or not.
