# Are Fmod Studio banks encrypted?

Are Fmod Studio banks encrypted? If not, is it possible?

Hi Jeff,

FMOD Studio banks are not encrypted but we are looking into this as a feature for a future release.

I’d also really like to see this. Used it in Designer didn’t realize it was gone till now.

I would also like to see this come back. We’ve almost always used this in Designer, and would especially like to use it to be able to say that we’ve taken reasonable measures to protect the assets/IP of a publisher/3rd party.
