Hi,

I’m having some trouble with FMOD Studio and Perforce. When I try to save something, FMOD Studio complains about missing write permissions to various MetaData files. Perforce is setup in FMOD, so I thought it automatically checks out everything. Is there a way to do that? At the moment I just manually checkout the MetaData folder and everything works, but that’s not really optimal.

Thanks,
Tobias

Hi Tobias,

FMOD Studio is meant to automatically check the metadata files out.

Could you check the logs in the Console window and check to see if there are any errors? Please also let me know what version of FMOD Studio you’re on?

Thanks,
Richard

Hi Tobias,

Just following up to see if you are still having issues with Perforce. Were you able to check the logs for any errors?

Thanks,
Richard
