hello.

There are 3 FMOD events registered in the Unity timeline.
Each event is set to Multi Instrument and has 3 sound registered.
The three sounds are shuffle settings.

When playing a timeline, I want a way to ensure that the order of sounds selected in the first event will be played in the same order as the sounds selected in the next two events.

Is there any way?

Hi,

Could I please grab the version number of your FMOD and FMOD Unity plugin?

Unfortunately, the FMOD Engine currently doesn’t provide a way to change the randomization seed mid-game. However, there’s a similar discussion on this topic that includes a potential workaround::

As such, if you want to be able to synchronize which playlist entry of a multi instrument will play across multiple clients, there is no way to do so; the only workaround is to remove the playlist entries from the multi instruments and instead control which one plays using parameters whose values are synchronized and randomized by your game’s code. Thank you for pointing out this li…

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions.
