I would like to create an event inside Fmod where I can get inside the engine as output to set the anim, but the parameters I saw are input-only, how should I get the value based on the sound?

Hi Mauro,

I don’t quite understand your question. If you need to get values from an event you can use the various get functions available in the Studio API:

[https://www.fmod.com/resources/documentation-api?page=content/generated/studio\_api\_EventDescription.html#/](https://www.fmod.com/resources/documentation-api?page=content/generated/studio_api_EventDescription.html#/)

[https://www.fmod.com/resources/documentation-api?page=content/generated/studio\_api\_EventInstance.html#/](https://www.fmod.com/resources/documentation-api?page=content/generated/studio_api_EventInstance.html#/)

If I’m misunderstanding please let me know.

Thanks,
Richard
