# Effect automation not working as preset if parameter is global

2.02.14 version  
Steps to reproduce:

- create event for testing;
- insert some assets to that event for auditioning and testing;
- create some global parameter and add it to that event;
- insert Gain effect and create automation in it for this global parameter;
- try to change global parameter and listen how Gain is changed - all is ok;
- convert that Gain effect to Preset;
- try to change global parameter and listen how Gain is changed - it’s NOT changing;
- detach that Gain effect back from Preset;
- try to change global parameter and listen how Gain is changed - all is ok again

Problem persist not only with Gain effect (I tried Lowpass Simple also)

This bug was fixed as of 2.02.17 - please update to that version and let me know whether the issue persists.

We updated to 2.02.22 and the problem is gone, thank you!  
(Maybe I missed info in new version’s changelog about that)
