# Error "FMOD\] FMOD\_OS\_Net\_Read : read failed with errno 9" when getting global parameter value

I am getting the error the following error when trying to read global parameters using

`FMODUnity.RuntimeManager.StudioSystem.getParameterByName(parameterName, out float paramValue, out float paramFinalValue);`

> [FMOD] FMOD\_OS\_Net\_Read : read failed with errno 9
>

> FMODUnity.RuntimeManager:DEBUG\_CALLBACK (FMOD.DEBUG\_FLAGS,intptr,int,intptr,intptr) (at Assets/Plugins/FMOD/src/RuntimeManager.cs:82)

Any idea about what is happening here?

I have not been able to reproduce this. What version of FMOD and Unity are you using?
