# Feature Request - Turn Clip into nested event

Heya,

Just wondering if there is a possibility of getting a feature added, where you can right click a clip and select “create nested event from clip”. This would save approximately 1 million hours for me, as I have to do this manually at the moment.

The nested event would ideally be renamed accordingly to reflect the nature of the nesting, for example,  
We create an Event called “Event1”.  
Inside Event1 we add a clip called “Clip1”, right click\>“create nested event from clip”, the clip becomes an event called “Event1\_Clip1”

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve added it to our feature/improvement tracker, so it’ll be discussed and potentially scheduled for development at one of our upcoming roadmap meetings.
