# \[FMOD Designer\] How to shuffle multiple song files within a sound def for a multi-track event?

Hello, I’ve [posted a topic about this very thing](https://qa.fmod.com/t/fmod-designer-multiple-file-multi-track-events-only-play-one-song-from-the-list-repeatedly/16312) back 2 years ago, and was hoping if I tried again I might be able to get an answer.

TLDR version of that thread: Is there any way to make multiple sound files under a single sound def actually shuffle the songs when placed in a multi-track event, rather than repeating the same song file endlessly? Here’s some screens to demonstrate what I’m referring to:
