# How do I know that the job of saving the file has been completed when setting FMOD\_OUTPUTTYPE\_WAVWRITER output ?（Android）

I use FMOD\_OUTPUTTYPE\_WAVWRITER output and it automatically writes the output to the disk.I got the audio file successfully.But another problem,How do I know that the job of saving the file has been completed ? I want to do someting when the output job is done. Can you help me ?

FMOD will constantly write to the file while it is running, as FMOD is released/shutdown it will close the file.

So if FMOD has released successfully and there aren’t any other errors, you can safely assume the file has been written to and closed.
