# Lipsync problems (SALSA)

Hello!

We are creating a Point and Click adventure using Unity, Adventure Creator and Salsa to do the lipsync.

The problem is the lipsync doesn’t work. The programer and I visited a lot of forums looking for a solution but we are still having this problem.

(If we don’t use FMOD the lipsync is working perfectly)

Unfortunately, it appears that SALSA Lip-Sync doesn’t support the use of audio from FMOD to drive lip-sync.

Given that SALSA is grabbing audio, metering, or spectrum data from Unity audio, which is an older version of FMOD, if there’s somewhere in the SALSA scripts that can be refactored to accept the equivalent data from FMOD it would be possible to add your own support for it.

While I definitely can help with retrieving that data from the FMOD API, assistance with the SALSA side of things falls outside the scope of support. Otherwise, I would recommend getting in touch with the developers (i.e. [directly](https://crazyminnowstudio.com/connect-with-us/), or in the [SALSA Lip-Sync thread](https://discussions.unity.com/t/salsa-lipsync-suite-lip-sync-emote-head-eye-and-eyelid-control-system/535650) on the Unity forums) to see whether implementing support for FMOD is something they’d consider doing.
