Unless I’m mistaken, it’s currently not possible to have two tracks crossfade over eachother within a transition timeline.

I’ve read the posts that explain why this is difficult to implement; but from a musical standpoint it seems like such a natural feature to have.

Is there any plan to implement such a feature?

We’re already working towards implementing this feature.

Unfortunately, there’s still a lot of changes we need to make before it’s even possible, so it’s taking us a while to get there. If you want to be notified when it’s released, you can sign up for our newsletter by giving us your e-mail address [here](http://www.fmod.org/download/).
