Hi,
I’m trying to install the FMOD plugin to Unreal 5.5.4 (the one from here [https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/linux](https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/linux)) in a Linux system, but I can’t get it to work.

The FMODStudio folder is copied into the /Engine/Plugins Folder (I also tried /Marketplace), but I always get this error when I launch the editor:

> Plugin ‘FMODStudio’ failed to load because module ‘FMODStudio’ could not be found. Please ensure the plugin is properly installed, otherwise consider disabling the plugin for this project.

When copied into a project Plugins folder, there is no error at launch, but the plugin seems to be ignored, I can’t find it listed anywhere.

I worked with FMOD and Unreal Engine in windows for years before without any issue. I have no idea what I could be doing wrong here.

Has anyone already had this issue?
Any help would be appreciated!

Which version of the FMOD plugin to Unreal plugin are you using?

I tried several versions:
2.03.10 (fmodstudio20310ue5.5linux)
2.03.09 (fmodstudio20309ue5.5linux)
2.02.31 (fmodstudio20231ue5.5linux)

I even tried a UE5.4 version, but none of them worked. The editor always display that error message and doesn’t launch.

Thank you.
I just installed the latest version of UE (5.7.0) and tried the relevant fmod plugin (fmodstudio20311ue5.7linux). I have the same issue, but still no clue about what I could be doing wrong.

Currently you will need to recompile the plugin either in your project or in the engine, which requires the use of an IDE.

We are working on getting this fixed at the moment.
