# problem showing 7.1 panner

Ok here is my problem :

I have a sound card with 8 outputs in WASAPI mode in FMOD studio (latest 1.08.03)  
It is set in 7.1 in windows configuration panel.  
My master panner or whatever panner is only showing 5.1 distribution… (that is only 3 speakers in front and 2 behind).  
Strange thing is when I do a test with an 8 channels sound file playing in FMOD on a single track, my sound card works as intended with 8 outputs.  
Anyone experiencing this ?

You must set your project in studio to be 7.1. This is under edit-\>preferences-\>build-\>desktop
