I’ll be completely honest here.

I suck at mastering/eqing. I can use my ears fine but achieving volumes without clipping is my downfall. I usually send my music off to be mastered for that reason.

I can’t really do that with FMOD so I’m reaching out to you guys for help.

How can I boost the overall output without it clipping? Am I limited to limiters? Would it be worth re-exporting everything from my DAW at a higher volume to start with? Are there any methods or plugins I can use to help here? Could I sort this out in Unity?

It’s not a fatality if I end up using a couple of dsp plugins but would be nice to avoid.

Thanks for your time and apologies for asking about something that I really should know about by now.
