# \[Qt build\] Cannot zoom with Ctrl+Mousewheel

Hi team,

same setup as here: [Bug: [Qt build] Controls are escalating – unusable - #2 by Connor\_FMOD](https://qa.fmod.com/t/bug-qt-build-controls-are-escalating-unusable/23961/2) but with FMOD Studio 2.03.13.

I cannot mouse wheel zoom anymore since the Qt build version and I have to resort to Ctrl+[and Ctrl+].

If there is something I can do for debugging, please let me know!

Apologies for the delayed response. It may be an issue with the preferences set in the `Interface` menu?

Hi Connor,  
thanks for your reply! This is my current setting (untouched):

The Alt key does not do anything. If I change Control to zoom in/out, I can zoom with Ctrl.

This fixes it for me as I do not want Alt for zooming, but, Alt does not work 🙂

Good to hear control is working, I will look into why the alt isn’t having as expected. Thank you for bringing this to our attention
