With the Designer API we were able to query which events were currently playing at run-time (EventSystem::getInfo). This allowed us to visualize currently playing audio events within our 3d game world. I was not able to find a way to do this with the Studio API. Is it possible?

You can iterate the loaded banks with:

- [System::getBankCount](http://52.88.2.202/documentation/#content/generated/FMOD_Studio_System_GetBankCount.html)
- [System::getBankList](http://52.88.2.202/documentation/#content/generated/FMOD_Studio_System_GetBankList.html)

Then you can iterate the event descriptions with:

- [Bank::getEventCount](http://52.88.2.202/documentation/#content/generated/FMOD_Studio_Bank_GetEventCount.html)
- [Bank::getEventList](http://52.88.2.202/documentation/#content/generated/FMOD_Studio_Bank_GetEventList.html)

Once you have events, you can find out what instances are playing with:

- [EventDescription::getInstanceCount](http://52.88.2.202/documentation/#content/generated/FMOD_Studio_EventDescription_GetInstanceCount.html)
- [EventDescription::getInstanceList](http://52.88.2.202/documentation/#content/generated/FMOD_Studio_EventDescription_GetInstanceList.html)

That will give you the instances which exist. You can query information about each instance, such as [EventInstance::getPlaybackState](http://52.88.2.202/documentation/#content/generated/FMOD_Studio_EventInstance_GetPlaybackState.html) for whether it is playing, stopping, or stopped.

Perfect, thanks! Works great.
