# Save to disk while playing through speakers?

Is it possible to use FMOD\_OUTPUTTYPE\_WAVWRITER while playing the sound through speakers?

No. As a workaround you can write a custom DSP that can be placed at the head of the mix graph that will write audio to disk while passing it along unmodified to the output device.

Thanks, I’ll take a look at dsp\_custom.cpp example. If you have more info about it, I would appreciate it.
