I have “Engine” and “Engine Total” events. The “Engine Total” event has an engine start sound which fades into the “Engine” instrument.

I only want the “Engine” event sent to the reverb bus, not the engine starting.
I’ve put the “Engine” event in the group sent to the reverb bus, but when I play the “Engine Total” event, that reverb isnt applied to the “Engine”

What is the best way to achieve this?

Thanks so much

If you nest “Engine” in the “Engine Total” event, “Engine” will follow “Engine Total” routing, not “Engine” routing, indeed.
You could manually add a send to the reverb in the Engine Total event, on the track containing the “Engine” part.
