Is it possible you are setting the position twice?
What versions of UE4 and FMOD are you using?

Are you able to debug with the [Studio profiler](https://www.fmod.com/resources/documentation-studio?version=2.1&page=profiling.html)? It has a number of tools that can help with finding issues.
