# Unity Recorder + FMOD does not record sound

Hello!  
I want to record gameplay for my project, but the unity recorder won’t record the sound.  
Can you tell me if there is any solution at the moment?

Unity version: 2020.3.11f1  
Fmod version: 2.01.11

Unfortunately the way that Unity Recorder records video footage of the gameplay bypasses the FMOD system. Instead, I would recommend using “Maximize on Play” and recording using Open Broadcast Software (OBS) or similar instead.
