# Virus detected when installing FMOD Studio fmodstudio11008win64-installer.exe

Hi guys,

I am new to FMod, when I install 11008 which I downloaded from [FMod.com](http://FMod.com), I get a ransomware warning from AVG. Do you guys see the same thing? Should I be worried?

Hi Irvin,

I’ve contacted you by email but I’ll put a reply up here too.

AVG is being a bit over protective of your system. The randsomware warning seems to happen when FMOD Studio is trying to install the audio assets for the Examples project into the Documents folder.

It is perfectly safe to allow the installation to continue.
