# Why can't I delete a send on an event bus?

Essentially the Title.

I have a send going to the stock Reverb bus, but I can’t remove it. What gives?

Hi Chris,

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this.

Could you please confirm the following for me:

- Which version of FMOD Studio are you using?
- Where are you trying to remove it from (the event’s deck, the routing browser, editor window, etc.)?
- Are you able to delete other effects from the deck?
- Is the project using version control?
- How are you trying to remove it (keyboard shortcut, right click -\> delete, etc.)?
