# Why is this happening to my sound in Unity?

It’s meant to be a mono sound. It sounds fine in FMOD, but in Unity it peaks loudly and flickers in the left and right stereo channels…

What version of FMOD and Unity are you using?  
Can you please upload this audio file to your [FMOD Profile](https://fmod.com/profile#uploads) so I can see if I can reproduce this?

Hi Jeff, sorry for the late reply. I managed to fix it by moving the sound forward from the listener a bit in the “panning settings” of the master track! I think it was just too close to the listener dead in the centre
