How do I create a Top down camera system similar to Nuclear Throne?

Hello, I want to create a camera system similar to Nuclear Throne’s(Gameplay: Nuclear Throne Gameplay (PC HD) [1080p60FPS] - YouTube). I want it to calculate the distance between the cursor object and the player and set the camera X to half of that value.
