Optimize Bank Setup

Is there any setup or ways to optimize FMOD Studio Banks?

In the project our team currently doing, there’s a lot of monster for each biome with different family monster. What we currently doing now is that each family monster have around 3 variation, then each is under that one bank of family.

Is there ways to optimize this kind of banks?

There’s no hard & fast rule for bank management, a lot comes down to your workflow and target platforms.

What you have would work, as long as you are using “Build banks to folders mirroring the banks browser hierarchy” in the Preferences dialog. Otherwise you could run into path conflicts when building.

Loading lots of smaller banks is a perfectly valid way of handling lots of monster like this.
