Hi Jussi,
Unfortunately we are unable to provide builds for Switch 2 on FMOD 2.01. We are also unable to provide builds for PS5 SDK 12.000 for FMOD 2.01.
I would be happy to provide the other builds you require, but if you need the platforms above, you will need to upgrade your project to at least 2.02.31.
For more information, please read https://www.fmod.com/docs/2.02/unity/user-guide.html#upgrading-to-a-new-major-version.
Kind regards,
Morgan
Hi, I happen to need the same plugin (FMOD 2.01.11) for the same version of GDK (10.0.26100.6194). Could you send it to me as well?
Hi there,
I have made FMOD for Unity 2.01.11 with GDK 251000 available on the downloads page.
Kind regards,
Morgan
Hi, I did some quick tests upgrading the project from 2.01.11 → 2.02.33 and it seems I got it mostly working, but will more manual labour to get everything working again. So I will go that route.
Currently committed upgrading the project FMOD to 2.03.33 and Unity to 6000.0.70f1. It uses Microsoft October 2025 GDKX (10.0.26100.6194) version. Can I use the GDK 251000 or can you add the GDK 26100?
Same for the Switch 1 & 2 SDKs, current required version is the SDK 21.4.4. can I use older versions?
Hi again,
I have made FMOD for Unity 2.02.33 with Switch 21.4.4 and Switch2 21.4.4 available on the downloads page.
The GDK versioning from Microsoft can be a little confusing. We use the short version numbers for our releases, e.g. 251000. These follow a format of YYMMUU where YY is the year of release, MM is the month, and UU is the update number for that year/month’s release. Thus, Microsoft October 2025 GDKX (10.0.26100.6194) is shortened to 251000 (2025, October, Update #0).
As such, you will be able to use our GDK 251000 build with the GDK version specified by your Unity release.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Kind regards,
Morgan
Thank you!
The GKD versioning number makes more sense now with your explanation. But I don’t see the switch plugins yet on the download page. Does it take some time to appear?
I am so sorry! I had the builds ready to go, but forgot to hit the button to update the website ![]()
I have fixed the issue, so you should see the Switch and Switch 2 builds now.
