Hi there. I hoping to clear up some confusion I have over commercial release of a game. Basically the situation is I joined an indie dev team and we agreed to integrate fmod as we had no intention of releasing the game commercially just for our own use and free download. The development budget was literally £0. However a publisher got wind of it and want to publish and and release the game on windows, Mac, iOS , and Nintendo switch. What happens at this point I’m terms of licensing of fmod?
if the total budget exceeds $500k USD it would need a paid license, otherwise you can carry on as usual.
