I have been wondering about a way for me to make or replace some sound effects and environment for the upcoming Celeste Modded game called Ingeste. I would like to join to Celeste mod community server, but they don’t want me to come back due to a past issue about the relationship, either in way I do want to explain about the gameplay mechanics, characters, environment, and so on.
The Story:
it’s take place after the first part of Celeste’s mountain. Madeline, kirby, badeline, theo, ralsei, and chara had fallen to the first floor of the surface with Mountain Ingeste, it’s large but have more metaphor than Celeste all combined. You, as the player, play as kirby or Madeline, depending on what you choose it from swapping out between those two, what is the differences of these two?
You see, unlike Madeline, who you jump, grab and climb, kirby have new mechanics and uses the same mechanics but with copy enemy abilities, inhaling, and exhaling/spitting. The only difference is that hover mechanics may work sometimes, but dash works better because of fast paces and precision timing for the main new mechanics. It would only slow you down if you keep puffing, but with three new mechanics strictly prohibited, I want to introduce “refill abilities“.
It would only work when the player touches the refill and gains the refill power, such as fire, ice, sword, electricity, water, hammer, and so on, if you get what I mean.
Now, let’s talk about the SFX game refill abilities
Mechanics:
As far as I know, there would be over 20 refill abilities; this may take a lot of work to create multiple sprites and hat sprites as well, but it will be worth it.
For example, I would need a sword’s abilities when the player touches the sword refill it would load a sound that the sword would make the sword to be summoned, and when the player uses the sword’s refill ability, it would also load a multi-sound-event for the sword to make the whip and slash sound effects.
Environment:
If I am not mistaken, this mountain takes place in another dimension where this mountain was isolated from Earth into the deep spaces itself, but with the isolation would need to come up with a few void-like ambience, such as a waterfall would need to be ocean-like, and a digital dimension would have to be like bitcrusher or glitchy, I would say.
Characters:
It’s nothing crazy to have dialogue, but it would be nice to have a generated voice-over as the dialogue and for the characters’ footsteps, expressions, attacks, and so on to be used for each main character for the climbing journey.
Attack, Defend, and Flee SFX:
For these sound effects, it would need to have a player, enemy, and bosses alike for the attacks. What I mean is I wanted to make it more like sparkling and space-like sound effects, to make it load and one-shot well for multiple sound loops and one-shot well, for example, if the player or enemy charges, it would need to have a loop effect until the player or enemy releases to unleash their attack, for the defend it would need to have a simple one-shot for gaurding the player itself or bosses alike, to make the player have to hit it or gaurd it just to be sure.
conclusion:
I would appreciate a way for me to get the sound quality like the audio library for me to make my own sound and try to buy the new sound, but the point is I am on a very strict budget, and I would need to know that is there a way for me to pay the subscriptions or buy a pack with already multi-audio-samples within it. That would be great.
