Crossfading anywhere in a transition region

Hi. It seems I can’t find an “official” solution to what I try to accomplish which is crossfading audio when a transition can occur anywhere in a section using a transition region with a parameter, in a horizontal system, so from section A to Section B or from any section to any section, since I have 6 sections and I go forward and backwards in them. I can activate transition anywhere in a section (quantized at 1 bar) but that will always plays at the start of my destination section. Enveloppe is not working. There must be a simple way to do this.
Thank you

Have you tried setting the “Offset” property of the transition region to “Relative?”

By default it’s set to “none,” which means the playback position will jump to the start of the destination region (or the exact position of the destination marker), whereas “relative” will cause the playback position to jump to a position inside the destination region at its destination that’s the same distance from the start of the region (as measured in bars) as the playback position was from the start of the transition region at the start of its jump (or to a position to the right of the destination marker at its destination that’s the same distance from the start of the region (as measured in bars) as the playback position was from the start of the transition region at the start of its jump).

You can read more about the “Offset” property in our documentation on the topic.

I have no problem having the transition to start from the beginning of my next section but what I want is to be able to crossfade those two sections when the change happens

You should be able to set up a crossfade by adding a transition timeline to each transition region, and dragging in each transition timeline’s left and right edges to create source and destination regions that overlap.
