Maximum amount of parameters per event

Just wondering if there is an upper limit on the amount of local/global parameters per event.

There isn’t any limit on the number of parameters you can use per event or per project. Having parameters will introduce a tiny bit of overhead compared to having no parameters but it is so minute you will not notice any difference.
