One of the great things about FMOD is that you can test how sounds will work together in a way that requires a bit more setup in a DAW. But quite often I find sounds that don’t work and i want to remove them but it can be tricky to find the sample I’m looking for. Is there a way of selecting the last played soundfile in an instrument so I can step through and remove the ones I don’t like?
As of the time of writing (March of 2026) there is no way to select the playlist entry of a multi insturment that was most recently selected for playback.
However, any currently-playing playlist entry is highlighted in the deck when the instrument is selected; and currently-playing playlist entries are also highlighted on the trigger region of the instrument, where they’re displayed in the same order as they appear in that instrument’s playlist. These features can be used to identify a playing playlist entry in the deck.

Thanks Joseph. Yes, that’s what I’ve been using but it’d be nice to have an option where the selection kept until the next entry plays.
I’ll add your suggestion to our feature and improvement tracker.
