URGENT: FMOD Event parameters not changing sound in UE4?

I have a ‘surface type’ parameter in FMOD, and when it increases, it changes the multi instrument and has a different set of footstep sounds. It isn’t working in Unreal, and when I try to debug and change the value and print it on screen in game, it ALWAYS comes back as 0. Any ideas? This was working a few weeks ago, but nothing has been done to it.
Any info is super helpful :’(

How are you changing the parameter value?
