A crash occurs when changing the default output device


Unreal Version : 4.27.2
FMOD Plugin Version : 2.02.06

Installing the FMOD plug-in on the Unreal engine and testing as follows will cause a crash.

  1. Run the editor.
  2. Run the game in the PIE environment.
  3. Exit the game.
  4. Change the default output device. (Windows - Sound Option)
  5. Run the game in the PIE environment.
  6. Crash


Thank you for those repro steps, although, I was not able to get it to crash.

Do you have the FMOD Plugin logging any errors? Is there anything special about the audio devices you are swapping from?
