While running some tests in attempt to get benchmark info on CPU and memory use with lost of dsp/effects loaded into Groups and event tracks I have noticed that the built bank file size increases as does the total count of files in the project.
Is this expected or should i look elsewhere for the cause?
I would expect the bank sizes to increase, as you are adding information to the events, although it is only very minimal for each effect.
As for file count, I would only expect to see new files added (metadata files that is) for new presets. The events effect information is stored in the metadata files of the events themselves.

I also noticed there actually had been a few extra files added that had a very high sample rate which probably contributed to the increased size as well.
I will account for these and check again.
