Double Click on Tempo Marker not working?

(Chris Shutt) #1

Hi,

I’m fairly new to FMOD. I’ve added a Tempo Marker and I want to change it from the default 120 bpm to 100 bpm. My understanding is that I just need to double-click on the Tempo Marker to edit it but when I double-click nothing happens. Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi Chris,

That certainly is odd behaviour. I have tested in 1.10.04 on Windows and Mac and both seem to work as expected.

Could you please verify if this happens in a new project as well, or is it just the project you’re working in? Could you open the logs (Window > Console > Logging) and see if there are any errors listed here?

Thanks,
Richard

Hi Richard,

It’s on a new project. I’ve just opened a new project, created a tempo marker and double clicked the marker and nothing? I uninstalled FMOD and tried re-installing (1.10.05) but still not working. I also downloaded FMOD on to my MacBook and it all seemed to work. This is what I get under Logging on my windows machine:

Hi Chris,

This looks to just be the initialization of the FMOD system. Do you see anything listed as being an error? It will also be coloured red.

Thanks,
Richard

Hi Chris,

Are you still having issues with editing tempo markers?

Thanks,
Richard

Hi Richard,

Sorry I didn’t get notified that you had replied. Yes, I am still having the problems. I’ve been working on my MacBook and it has been working fine but I would prefer to use my PC. I’ve downloaded the latest version and just reinstalled but still unable to edit the tempo when double clicking? This is what I got under the Loggin this time. Nothing in red just a couple of lines in yellow (see below).

20:08:30 fmod_systemi.cpp(2822), SystemI::init(): Output requires a sample rate of 44100Hz, resampling will occur.

I have a similar problem. I have to delete and create new marker every time when I want to edit the marker. Fmod Studio 1.10.05, build #94661, 64bit, macOS.
