Enter Specific Number for Parameter

Is there a way to enter a specific number for a parameter, instead of just using the slider/knob?

Unfortunately, there is currently no way to set a parameter to a specific value other than adjusting the parameter’s knobs. This is a known issue, which should be fixed sometime between now and the end of March.

This feature was implemented ten years ago, as part of FMOD Studio version 1.03.00.

In that version, the way to enter a specific number for a parameter was to double-click on the parameter’s current value in the transport bar, and then enter a new number using your keyboard. Our UI has changed several times since then, however; in the most recent versions of FMOD Studio, you should instead click on the triangle on the left side of the parameter’s number box, then enter a new number using your keyboard.
