FMOD enters no sound mode


Several users of our game are reporting that they do not have any sound.
It appears as though FMOD enters no sound mode when it can’t initialize an output device like speakers or headphones.

Is there any solution to this? We haven’t been able to find a working solution. What works for most users is to disable their external monitor as an audio device. But this shouldn’t be neccessary…



What version of the FMOD integration is being used in the project? The forum post you linked should have been solved in 2.02.17.

Are there any logs or reproduction steps you can share?
