How does FMOD measure velocity? -> Built in speed parameter

I’m assigning the built in (absolute) speed parameter to control the amount of wind you hear as a car speeds up.

I’m just curious how FMOD measures velocity, and in what Units.

While I’m here does anyone also know how Unity measures velocity?
