[Interactive Music System] Is There a way to tell Fmod to "wait" certain Number of Bars before taking action?

Hello!

I was wonderin if anyone has managed to create or have a work-around in order to have Fmod wait a certain number of music bars (Instead of seconds!) before a variable action is triggered?

I´ve been working on a game project for over a year now and this is always an issue I come across, we really need to “wait” 1 or 2 bars in order to have a MUSICAL transition into different variables and actions, otherwise the change is to sudden and ewww…

Is this possible in any way or does someone might have an idea how to do this?

What particular actions are you looking at triggering? There are certain properties that can be quantized by tempo such as transition regions or triggering instruments.
