I have been trying out the Mackie Control control surface features. I can see that some great features are implemented. But I have not found any documentation to be certain of all the features. Is there such a thing? For all the nice features it has, I am surprised to see that the play/stop buttons do not seem to control FMOD’s transport. Is that an oversight or by design?
As of the time of writing (June of 2021), we do not have any documentation on our control surface support. This will be corrected as we continue to improve and expand our documentation in future.
When I test here, the play and stop buttons on Mackie control surfaces do cause the currently selected event to play or stop as if the play and stop buttons on FMOD Studio’s transport bar were being pressed. I do not know why this is not working for you.
