My Fmod seems to be unable to save changes when I put events in banks

For whatever reason after using github my Fmod won’t save any events after i assign them to banks
here is a bunch of screenshots following my order of events that causes the problem

I made an sfx bank,
put two events in it,
saved the project,
opened,
made a new event,
saved it to the same bank,
Saved the project,
opened and the change after the initial save just dissapeared,
This seems to happen regardless of the size of the change,
and sometimes it happens on the initial save.
it seems that the project just reverts to whatever state the previous save was in, if i save right after creating the project it just wipes everything, this also happens with projects i’ve pushed to online repositories, but seemingly only on my end.
the only work around I’ve found for now, is doing everything in one big batch, saving that over the previous spot and doing literally all of it again when a change needs to be made.

I am on a Mac M1 computer,
I’ve tried resetting, redownloading Fmod, nothing seems to work

Hi,

Thank you for the explanation and images. What version of FMOD are you using?

Are you saving the project to a folder included in iCloud? There are known issues when saving a project to the cloud: FMOD deletes my metadata files upon saving and exiting - #12 by Connor_FMOD.

Could you please try saving it to a local directory?

Hope this helps!

Hi, I’m using the most recent 2.02
I’ve experimented with icloud folders and I’m fairly sure think that’s it,
things saved to external drives or local directories seem to work fine.
it mainly seems that for whatever reason when something is saved to icloud for me it doesn’t save all of the project, some times it’s only 75% or in some cases nothing at all.
It does seem to be working normally when icloud isn’t a factor

Good to hear that solved it!
