Real-time Panning & Volume Randomizations

Hey guys - I’ve been looking for a way to achieve this in my loops with volume or pan randomization on an event track. I’m not looking for something that will randomly decide the pan direction or volume level on an instrument module every time the loop comes around or re-triggers, but something that can move the volume levels and panorama around on the fly.

For example if I have a loop of music that I want to occasionally fade in game, it would be nice to have it drop in volume every so often or completely fade away, pan left or right, etc.

What would be a good way of going about this?

The current version of FMOD Studio (1.10.04) does not support LFO but it is in our tracker for a future release.

In the meantime, the workaround for this would be to automate the volume and panning of these events on a parameter or parameters and to set these values based on your own LFO or random number function.
