Refresh Selected Assets? Is this the best way to iterate assets?

Hi, I’m optimizing workflow and discovered what appears the easiest method for iterating source assets. I’m building a folder structure inside FMOD, then exporting from my DAW into that structure to overwrite files with new versions. Then doing the right click > refresh selected. This works fine, but I just wanted to see if people thought this was the best method? (I’m not using Reaper in this instance)

It’s definitely a good, streamlined workflow, and a lot of projects use it.

That being said, different projects have different requirements and constraints: Some larger studios require all asset changes to be reviewed before they can be added to a game, whereas others use unusual source control or collaboration software that prohibit this workflow.
