We will be looking into 4.27 soon, no ETA yet, that will depend largely on how much Epic have changed. As soon as we have something we will publish to GitHub.

Hi Mathew,

Not seeing any action on FMod for Unreal 4.27 yet - although I might be looking in the wrong place.
Is there anything yet please?

Thanks,
Paul

I just approved the changes required to get 4.27 working today so they should be on GitHub soon. Official binary builds will be released when 4.27 leave preview.

Hi Mathew,

is there any news regarding official support for UE4.27?

Thanks

The changes are up on GitHub now, our next release will include 4.27 builds.
Our next release is going through QA now, should be available next week.

Hi Mathew,
is there any more news about the UE4.27 update?
Sorry for another ping, we’re waiting for the console updated binaries to be able to submit our game.
Thanks

I am also eagerly waiting, 4.27 is required for the latest iOS deployment of mobile games and right now my project is blocked until fmod updates :frowning:

Hopefully very soon or a way we can compile ourselves?

Our next release is possible “any day now”, QA has signed off but there are a couple of integrity checks to go through still.

For public platforms (i.e. not console) you can build the plugin yourself.
See our documentation for steps.

Yay it’s up!

What is the difference between the 2.01 and 2.02 versions?

Yes, thanks for your patience.
Not a lot UE4 specific new in 2.02, it’s more about the underlying API, you can see our “What’s New in 2.02” docs for details.
