Bug in 2.03.12: Selecting and deleting all samples in a multi using CTRL+A then press delete doesn't work

FMOD Studio 2.03.12.

I have a load of samples in multi-instruments.

If I select all with CTRL+A and hit the delete key, it appears to delete just one of the samples.

If I right click and select delete from the menu, it deletes all of them.

If you select by clicking on the first sample and shift click the last sample, then press delete, this deletes them all.

I’m afraid I haven’t been able to reproduce this issue. When I test here, pressing the “Delete” key reliably deletes all selected playlist entries, regardless of the method used to select them.

I may be missing some important detail or step of the process. What operating system do you use?

Can you confirm that all the audio table entries are highlighted in gold after you press Ctrl+A?

Are you able to record a video of this issue and upload it to your profile page?

Hi Joseph, this is with Windows 11 Pro. Yep, all files in the multi instrument are highlighted.

I’ve uploaded a small video to my profile for you.

@joseph - did you get a chance to watch the video I uploaded to my profile?

I did.

After some more investigation, I discovered that the bug occurs in FMOD Studio version 2.03.12, but not in the unreleased version 2.03.13 that I was testing with when you reported the issue, hence my inability to reproduce it.

Which is to say, the issue has been fixed. I recommend downloading FMOD Studio version 2.03.13 when it is released.

Cool - thanks Joseph.
