I got this error:

BusNotFoundException: FMOD Studio bus not found ‘bus:/’
FMODUnity.RuntimeManager.GetBus (System.String path) (at Assets/Plugins/FMOD/RuntimeManager.cs:825)
FMODUnity.RuntimeManager.PauseAllEvents (Boolean paused) (at Assets/Plugins/FMOD/RuntimeManager.cs:844)
FMODUnity.RuntimeManager.OnApplicationPause (Boolean pauseStatus) (at Assets/Plugins/FMOD/RuntimeManager.cs:531)

I don’t know what caused it and ever since it appeared events don’t play in Unity.

What version of Unity and the FMOD Unity integration are you running?

FMOD Unity integration is 1.08.13 and Unity is 5.4.2f2

Can you give us some more info to work with please? Can you give us the full log of your game so we can see what occurs in the leadup to this problem? Any other info you can provide?
