Easy way to output only one channel of assets?

Quite often I found out later, some SFX I crafted are better to be presented mono.

But simply downmix a stereo sound into mono sound would introduce unwanted effect.

Is there a easy way to audition the left and right channel of an asset and only output one channel as mono sound?

I know I could go back to DAW or open external editor, but it wouldn’t be as intuitive and able to A/B compare quickly with Live Update.

I guees you can use channel mix plugin to choose the L or R channel, and make your track output to mono.
