Filter Modulation of Nested Event not played in Parent Event

Edit: I’m on version 2.02.28 if that makes a difference! Updating didn’t seem too easy with our Unity project, hope that won’t be necessary for now.

Hmm… Experimenting with this here, it seems like the AHDSR modulator’s adjustment is being applied to the property in both cases, but when the event is played through an event instrument the modulator’s attack period seems to begin and end slightly later comared to the start of the event instance. This is especially noticeable when the attack period of the modulator and play time of the event are both relatively short, as they are in your event.

I’m not yet been able to determine why this is happening, but it definitely shouldn’t be, so I’ll add it to our bug tracker. It should be fixed in an upcoming version of FMOD Studio.

In the mean time, I’m afraid I haven’t been able to find a workaround for you to use, other than slightly extending the length of time the event plays for so that the AHDSR modulator’s attack has more time to play out.

Hii! Thanks for the reply. Yeahh I also found that adjusting the nested AHDSR times to be a little “too low” allows me to make it work. So I do have a workaround for now!
